What is your teacher to child ratio?

We follow the guidelines given to us by our local licensing agency.  Refer to our on-line parent handbook for ratios for each age group.

What type of training do your teachers receive?

We follow the guidelines from our licensing agency when hiring our teachers.  The teacher’s backgrounds range from those with Masters or Bachelor Degrees in Education, Associates in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development Accreditation, to experience in the field.  Our teachers are required to have training in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease control, and Child Abuse Prevention.

Do you offer a summer program?

Our full-time extended-care program is open through the summer months with fun activities scheduled on site.  Children enrolled full-time during the summer will participate in water activities and other indoor and outdoor activities.  We also offer a part-time preschool camp during the months of June and July.  This program is for children ages 3-5 who are already potty trained.  More information (including our registration form is available online).  We also offer a School Age Summer Program for children in grades Kindergarten through 4th Grade.

What type of curriculum do you use?

Our curriculum is thematic involving hands on experiences that support growth in kindergarten readiness skills. We use the Beginners Bible and related activities to help your child grow spiritually.  We have begun implementing Creative Curriculum over the 2014-2015 school year.  This particular curriculum works on building on children’s interests while still including lots of hands on and creative activities with a strong emphasis on  Kindergarten readiness.
